If you’ve got a moment, check this out! If you are aware of our band, you are probably also aware of the Trunk Space. It is a performance and visual arts space located in Downtown Phoenix, Arizona. It has been a labor of love for its owners, Steph and JRC, and has played a crucial role in the blossoming local music and arts community. It has also hosted national and international acts and artist; providing a home away from home for anyone that has something to share with others. It was one of the first places that was willing to book Andrew Jackson Jihad and has been an important and consistent resource for our band throughout the last 8 years. The owners and volunteers have been working tirelessly to keep the venue operating and are currently in the running for substantial small business grant. This money would be a windfall and would be appropriated to developing the sound system, rehabilitating the space and installing A/C. Can you believe that they still don’t have A/C!? It will only take a moment, and you could give back to a Small Business that has been extremely generous to our community throughout the years. Arizona certainly has its unsavory side but places like The Trunk Space keep me here and make me proud to be an Arizonan. Thanks! -AJJ
